Theodore passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2017.

Theodore was a resident of Erie, Pennsylvania at the time of passing.

He graduated from Erie Tech High School in 1949.

Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Sons Funeral Home, Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd. Erie, PA on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to prayers there the following morning at 9:15 a.m., followed by a funeral mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Wintergreen George Cemetery. A memorial service will also be held on Thursday, November, 16th from 5 to 7 p.m., followed by a prayer service, at the Schellhaas Funeral Home & Cremation Svcs.

I am so sorry to read of the loss of Ted. My deepest condolences & sympathies to everyone!He was a great guy! I hope all the family is doing better after this loss. All my best to Chris, Floe, Mary, Cynthia, Chuck, and Jim (Moose) and all the kids etc.

Dear Marther Family, we were all saddened to learn of Uncle Ted's passing.We all enjoyed being around him and all of you.we had lot of great times at Aunt Ester's and Uncle Wilber's house. He was always so friendly and nice to be around . We are sorry he had to suffer with so much pain and other health issues .We remember how good you were when our sister,Janet, and our mother died. We are thinking of you at this time and praying for all of you.We are sending our love to you at this very sad time. My sincere condolences on the loss of your dad. I have such fond memories of our families growing up together on English Avenue hill, going camping at Allegany State Park, where Kris was the best at spotting deer.

Thanks to you all for the fond memories. Your family has been good friends to our family for 60 years!

My heart goes out to you all at the passing of your father. He was always kind and helpful to me in my pursuit of the outdoors. I remember those camping trips with you all back in the day...
